AFA radio systems have allowed us to easily talk to the driver while he is in the car; he can now hear and understand us perfectly, whereas with previous radio accessories, the background noise was too great for him to hear us clearly. How Does The Microphone Technology Work?

Our technology is inside the AFA microphone capsule, which utilises one microphone to capture your voice and another for ambient noise.

The AFA microphone capsule sends combined and opposing signals to your connected device’s Digital Signal Processor (DSP). In essence, we communicate with machines in a way they understand. This new AFA signal allows the DSP to operate at its maximum potential, enhancing your voice and suppressing background noise even further.

How Do I Use The AFA Microphone?

The AFA Microphone Capsule features two microphones—one for your voice and one for ambient noise.

The voice microphone is shaped like a curved spoon, allowing you to speak into the concave side of the microphone. The noise microphone is on the convex side – don’t worry – we’ve labelled the side you need to speak into with a mic symbol. You can also feel the microphone’s curve through the wind foam.

Are AFA Microphones A Direct OEM Fit?

Yes! You can purchase the AFA microphone solution designed to plug into your supported brand and headset model. Unplug your old microphone from your headset upon arrival and replace it with the AFA Spoon Microphone.
